The most important factor is an open, trusting relationship that fosters good communication.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy reading and golfing.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

The most rewarding part is personal one-on-one patient encounters, as well as working to improve health not only on the individual, but of a community of patients. Also, I am actively involved with the supervision and education of the next generation of doctors in the Baptist Memorial Health Care system.
