What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

As a nurse practitioner, I enjoy caring for patients and providing education to them on their disease processes and illnesses. I treat patients with compassion and respect.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

The ability to listen to each other and build a trusting relationship. I focus on open communication with my patients to ensure they are an active participant in their own health care.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

Spending time with family, supporting my children in their endeavors, camping, and fishing.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

Improving a patient's health by providing education and appropriate treatment for their illnesses.
