Specializing in Pediatric Endocrinology
Dr. Leah Akinseye is a board-certified physician specializing in pediatric endocrinology, including the treatment of growth and puberty disorders, thyroid disease, adrenal gland disorders and metabolic bone disorders. She also helps her patients in the management of diabetes, lipid disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome, and childhood obesity. Dr. Akinseye earned her medical degree in her native Nigeria before moving to the United States to complete her residency and a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She joined Baptist Medical Group in 2021.
