What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

Personal attention, social interaction, a complete explanation of your health issues and options for treatment. Prompt treatment, labs and test results. Many of my patients have seen me for over 10 years and refer their friends and family to me.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Trust. My patient will come away from a visit with the belief that I have a care plan that is well thought out, based on experience and medical facts and in their best interest. My treatment will be efficient but not rushed and they will understand why I am taking a particular course of action.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

Golf, gardening, woodworking, reef aquariums, classic cars, cooking, wine, dining, reading for fun, skiing

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

Personal interactions with my patients. Finding the correct diagnosis and explaining why they have been experiencing a certain problem. Fixing that problem and seeing the relief it can bring.
